Lisa...

I'm very sorry about the passing of Builders dad. I know this has been taking a huge toll on him. My thoughts and prayers for him and the family and for you. I hope that Builder was able to be comforted by your being there. And that you will grow even closer through it all. Maybe after the greiving he will begin to feel more settled again. Hugs to you guys!! And have FUN with weekend with kids!!

But even in loss something shines and it sounds like your love and bond is tightening.....and that is a beautiful thing.

Yes, it definitely is.

I am so sorry about Builder's dad but you got to see how he handled himself and you are closer now. Your ex and my ex should get together and go bowling. What a jerk!

Just wondering how you're doing? Is life getting back to semi- normal again? I hope you are feeling more settled and Builder is OK too.

I'm glad to hear that :o)

I know that losing a parent takes a huge toll. Sometimes its just so hard to bounce back. But I am happy that you two are doing well and I'm sure he feels blessed to have you to lean on.

As for him going to NY for holidays. It reminds me of my first holiday season while dating BE. Things were a bit too new for me to ask him to go with me up north on my Xmas vacation. And he went and spent Thanksgiving with his daughter and family that year. And we missed each other so much....were on the phone with each other constantly! Absence really can make the heart grow.. I'm sure Builder will miss you and soon enough you will be doing holiday 'together'.
