I'm absolutely torn- on the one hand I'm glad to be out of there, on the other I'm going, "what the H*LL are you thinking???"

My boss was the type of man who would yell and freak out on the employees. Last week, as you guys know I was in a car accident, so I had to take time off. Well, he was freaking out because I've had so much time off and how he's given me the most out of everyone and how if I ask him again for ANYTHING I'm gone.

Anyways, I was totally in tears and said, "I can't do this anymore" and left.

Next morning they had my position posted to fill.

Awww! I can totally understand being in that environment where it's just too much to take. Your ex boss sounds like a real jerk. But, now, what prospects do you have? It doesn't matter what you did at this point, it's too late, but you've got to figure out what you're going to do moving forward.

Big hugs

I'm so sorry to hear about that alison! Have you made plans on what your going to do now? What job position did you have? If you haven't already, check through a recruiting office like Kelly Services, to make sure you can get a temporary position or something to keep you afloat.

I think you made a very good decision- it sounds like a terrible environment and work (if you work full time) is 80% of your time! My boss is very supportive and thats how it should be. Never allow someone to mistreat you -- and thats exactly what you did. You will find another job its ok...hugs!! Dont worry about the job posting -- jeez think about what the next poor person will have to go through -- yuck.

REALLY this was a good thing!
