I remember your holidays last year and how you almost didn't get a Christmas dinner.

I don't want to get caught in the middle and for my own kids to end up being treated badly so I hesitate with the holiday situation

That I can completely understand!

Well Thanksgiving has passed already in Canada (October) but for Christmas I am looking for some new traditions.

I'm not dating at all. Thanksgiving is tough for me. DD is always with me, but since moving to Florida, we have no family here. My step-mother's sister lives about 2 1/2 hours away and she invited us over. We went last year and it was fun. We might go again this year. It's depressing, but I'm starting to not care now. At least I tell myself that. For Christmas we go to NY, so it's great to spend it with family. I'm really looking forward to it.
