Still no period! I called doctor and...

Ok. This is a follow up to how much would worry post. I was supposed to get period on Sunday. Took a PG test on Monday it was negative, took a PG test yesterday it was negative. Called the doctor and the nurse told me that sometimes, the pill suppresses ovulation and thins the uterus so much that you skip a period. I never heard of this! Have you ever heard of this? Do you think I should keep taking PG tests all week? It's kind of expensive to do this, but I am panicking.

I have heard of this happening, but I don't think it's really common, and I think it's more likely if you slowly over time have lighter and lighter periods and then one day it stops. I don't think you generally go from normal period to nothing. Although since you haven't been taking it that long, who knows. I do think stress and freaking out can make your body do the same and that can delay your period. I would relax, wait a few days and then take another test. If you were pg there is nothing you can do about it today. Try to think about other things and maybe your period would just show up.
Deep breath... big (((((HUG)))))
This used to happen to me all the time when I took the pill. I would either skip periods completely or not have them immediately upon starting the placebos and, in that case, my period would happen during the first few days of the active pill week.
The HPT is accurate when your period is 5 days late. I wouldn't test unless my period was at least that late.
You have to go to the office for the blood test.
Here is info on the EPT:

I predict you will wake up with your period tomorrow.
Keep us posted!
Well, I woke up and still nothing!
I started the placebo pills Sunday. PG tests on Monday, Tuesday and this morning (Thurs) are all negative.
Guess it's just a wait and see now!
