Wow - a group of 12 year old boys can keep a mom BUSY. I guess I have been spoiled by having an only child!
Our evening started at 5PM with a lot of boys from school and the neighborhood arriving for a sleepover. First was a swim in the pool complete with water basketball. Then I hear - we are starved.
I had bought frozen pizzas and made mac-n-cheese, salad and chicken with rice - put out a buffet. Was smart enough to get plastic plates!
Then they went on a big run around the neighborhood with all the kids playing some sort of boy game and football and basketball. One came in with a skinned elbow so I bandaged up for him. Then they got too hot so back in the pool. Then hungry for cake - I put out a big Oreo ice cream pie. Then they wanted back in the pool and now it was almost 11PM so I said NO - time for xbox and winding down. Even our dog was too tired to go in the pool at that point - they were trying to entice him in with a ball - which he NEVER refuses and he ran to me.
This morning I got them up for breakfast by letting the dogs jump on them. They enjoyed blueberry waffles, bagels and juice. Then watched the dog play water fetch!! LOL!!
Time to clean up and get the house and food ready again - my family is coming for a party. Pretty much everything is done! Wild weekend has a whole new meaning - LOL!!

Actually, that's what happened to Shrimps's box of Thin Mints.
My sleepover experiences come from girl slumber parties!
