lol. Sad that I am CELEBRATING that, ha?

He never showed. I told the doc i assume that he forgot b/c he was "never good at remembering appts" & the guy looked at me like i was a co-dependant ASS & said "i dont care WHAT his excuse is, seeing his CHILD should me a priority to him. This shows me where his priorities continue to lie, with his own selfishness. I have been communicating with his atty, & telling him that this guy needs to step up to the plate & even his atty is enabling him by not charging him & asking me to 'give him a break & let him see his daughter' - & he is going to have to work long & hard to convince me that he truly IS interested in being the "father" that he says he wants to be".

Forgot one thing - The doc is very Pro-parent-child relationship. He told me in the beginning it is EXTREMELY rare for him to feel seperation is good. So today he said "from everything he has shown me, up to this point, I am SO close to going to the courts & telling them he is done".

In all this nastiness and mess you're dealing with, the one bright star is that this doctor genuinely cares about Ave.

Sounds like you have a great advocate in this shrink.

I don't know if I should be thrilled of the outcome or sad because it's another deadbeat jerk father who hurts his child by neglect.

Oh I am sorry to say I think this is good news for you. I thought you would have to endure more verbal abuse but this is better. He knew he couldnt handle it or just plain never cared enough to start with. I am gad that the doc is so supportive and I agree that Avery is the reason for all of this. It seems like you two really do see things the same way and I think that will do a lot of good in the long run. I really wish you lots of support and love in all of this. You did great today and I bet the hour with the doc didnt hurt for lots of reasons!

I agree with Soonee and am glad the doc cares about your DD. That is a breath of fresh air after all you have been through in the court system. And I am so glad you got a day with the doc - good stuff. Keep us posted! What a relief for sure for you for today!!

Oh wow- those drawings and letters are quite telling, are they not?!??! It really is good though- that Averey can express herself so well. I think my Feb baby would

I'm with Precious..I don't know whether to be glad or sad. Taz is one big trip! It's terrible that Ave and you have to deal with any of his shananigans(sp?).
