Telling a man you are a mom

Hello ladies,
I am new on the board and I am trying to find someone out there that can empathize from my standpoint.
I am a mother of two boys and have been divorced now for over 1 yr.
I am starting to meet men and don't know when the time is right to tell them I have children?
Any suggestions?

I love that you are working on being as honest as you can be. I see that this is an *encounter* not a date, not a relationship so revealing your personal life is not a requirement. I know for myself that my non-custodial children are key in my life and so I talk about them as a matter of course in any conversation with anyone. If you feel the same then do so. If you are more private about your personal life then don't. I believe that I only share when *I* feel it is appropriate and as who I am not if I feel I *should*. Does that make sense?

It makes perfect sense,
Thank you, I am a very free spirited woman, but very private when it comes to personal life.
You did nothing wrong by not telling him you are a mom.
