Hey girls!!! It's Friday!! WAHOO!!

Whatcha doin' for the weekend? Cleaning, cooking, running the kids around, dating, looking, hiding? Tell us!!

As for me -

Friday night DS and I will go to dinner and then he goes off with his dad for the weekend. Saturday morning I promised my swim coach that I will participate in a swim meet - we have to dive off the block and swim 2 laps really hard. You see, I didn't learn to swim until I was 39 so that is sort of a big deal but a fun challenge.

Saturday I have a fun night with the alumni girls planned. There is a new sports bar that is really upscale and outdoorsy so we are going to meet early, have dinner and catch up. So far it looks like just the girls - so no MA!! Lucky me!! LOL!!!

MtEverest (the guy I went on a date with on Monday) has been emailing and texting and yesterday he called. But I didn't take the call because DS and I were cleaning the house. DS was putting away the Christmas tree while I was vacuuming and mopping the floor - it was a team effort to get a lot done in a short amount of time. I told DS that if he wants to play the teen games on his xbox that he has to do the teen work around the house! LOL!! So then I did return MtEverest's call a tad later and left a message. I think he is away with his son this weekend - he has him every other weekend.

Saturday and Sunday morning I am going to be out on my bike in the lanes where everyone (including single cyclists) ride.

You have mentioned disc golfing several times now. I am now going to ask....what is that exactly?

My DD and I are going to a b-day party bonfire tonight. I'm looking forward to the smores, hot dogs and fireworks but not looking forward to the cold! My friend's son is celebrating not only his birthday which was yesterday but also getting his braces off. He wants to eat all the stuff he couldnt and one of his favorites is s'mores.

It's a 3-day weekend for me and its suppose to be a cold one. DD is going with her dad Saturday and I think I might be playing cards that evening with some friends. Nothing spectacular. Laundry, house cleaning and what not.

MtEverest just called. He is on his way out of town to take his son kayaking and camping. They are going to camp in a tent but he also has a cabin in case the weather turns bad. And they will cook and build a fire. He says he will text me from the woods and he wants to get together next week.

I wish my DS and I were back in Jackson Hole - we are definitely going there again - although not til summer.

Ain't that hoot! Never heard of it. Sounds more fun than regular golf and a lot less expensive too.

Emma....livin' in the middle of nowhere LOL!

The cool thing is.....there are disc golf courses all over the place....even in the middle of nowhere. Do a search and you'll find one within probably 20 miles! And, the price is right...usually zero fees at all!

Pacific....hooked on disc golf
