Third Date Rule - not me

Well, I had the third date with new guy. We met out for drinks. I told him I wasn't ready to invite him in while the kids were in the house (even though they were asleep). On the first two dates, he came in for a little kissing on the couch because the kids were with their father. He said that was fine; he even admitted it was a little wierd for him and he wasn't ready for it.

But he called tonight and we make plans for the weekend after next. I'm taking the kids camping this weekend. We'll see.

It is so nice just to be out with someone who is so easy to talk with.

I must admit though, as much as I am happy to take this slowly, a friend with benefits would be nice right now (blushing to admit that).

Hey, a friends with benefits can really work. You shouldn't blush. :) It's helped me in the past. I used to have one somewhere all the time and now I have none, but sometimes wish I did. It might make things a bit easier. :)

Sounds like everything is going well! Definitely take advantage of how well things are moving along.

Like Cat said, don't blush about wanting a FWB. I have one that is there for me when I have given dating a break for a few months and just have the urge. lol It DOES make things easier to deal with! lol

That is nice he is making plans! And that you feel he is easy to talk to? FWB is okay - but maybe he will be more? It sort of sounds like he wants more from what you write!!

Keep us posted!

I think he does want more than just FWB. He is very easy to talk to and talks easily himself. And he has the sexiest eyes!

I'll let you know how it goes.

Thanks for all the support!
