So I took the plunge and went through a site that matches people based on compatitiblity. This guy started the process, and we had been responding and emailing at least once a day. That has stopped. How long is too long to wait? Not that I have all my eggs in a basket, but if my last email to him scared him, bored him, whatever, I want to delete him from my queue.

Does that make sense?

so I guess I'm asking how long do i wait before I can can say he's defienitely not interested.

Thanks in advance!

I say you don't wait at all - keep on looking and responding to others. He might have been emailing just to email and then found someone else he likes better. That is just how it goes.

Thanks so much for the response!!

Believe me, I have learned the hard way not to wait for anyone. I was just wondering what the standard timeframe (ha, if there is such a thing) for just saying "Well I guess he's just not interested."

And again, believe me, I'm still being active, yet again, on the site. I just know that if I want to get to know someone, I'm prompt on emailing back. I'm just not sure how everyone else views that.

Gosh, it sounds like I don't have a life!!! ha ha. Sometimes I wish that was the case.

Thanks again!!
