tips that you can give me on how to write an objective. I just feel my CV sucks. I want it to be amazing and just can't find that knack to make it great. I got the job stuff, just can't put it together. It's frustrating.

I think it's best to make each CV custom for the specific job you are applying for... That's exactly right. At least on the objective part.

I worked for Hyatt for 5yrs in total. Loved that company. I did ponder trying to work for them again, but haven't really decided. I think I might just move a different notch. Maybe Westin Resorts. Who knows. Hyatt rocks though! LOL

Thank you all for the great help, now a sort of other question. What is the difference between an objective and an introductory letter? These resumes have changed so much since I was back home. YUCK.

The objective is more general... it's a statement at the top of the CV that says you want a certain type of job in a certain field or something like that. The introductory letter personal and is addressed to the person the CV is sent to, is a few paragraphs, and it highlights some additional things about you and your experience and tells them why you are interested in the job and what makes you uniquely qualified for it.
