Hey darlin,
how's life? Ready to meet my kids in about 4-5 weeks? Let me know if you make a trip to Rothenburg. They will be in town for almost 8 weeks.
Let us know whats going on with your plans to move back, the x, etc.

Things over here are ok. I am still just waiting on custody paperwork. It would help if there werent so many holidays in May!! Just causes more delay when all the offices are closed. It had seemed that every time I thought I understood what was going on, something would happen to delay the paperwork. So, when I was talking to Special Consular Services at the embassy here, she offered to call and speak with my lawyer to make sure that I had all the information I need (since she speaks german fluently), plus we thought it would help if it showed that someone is interested in the case (the consulate cant put pressure on anybody, but we thought the appearance of interest would be helpful). Right now the biggest issue is the Judge being on vacation.
What bugs me is that knowing the closer we get to the school holidays the airfares are going to skyrocket. And if I have to take a government loan for more than 2,000 Euros then it will have to be approved by Washington. Plus the kids passports expire June 2, which stressed me out because that is just more money issues. But my consular agent assured me that they could issue emergency passports even if they were expired and that they would do it at no charge. Big relief, when I am counting pennies.
The kids and I decided to go to the movies for Mothers DAy to see Spider Man. It wasnt playing locally so we had to travel. They wouldnt let us see it because of the kids ages!!! We were so upset. I have never had that issue here locally. Usually its just an adult is required. It still isnt playing here locally...I am so bumbed! Oh well, money is tight this weekend anyway.
Well, I guess that pretty well summarizes our life at the moment...learning to live day by day till we can put some roots down in the states.
