SO, the guy I met at my girlfriend’s b-day party (I'll call him funny guy - because he makes me laugh so hard) ended up asking me out to dinner last sat. night. He was SUCH a gentleman. We went out to eat and then headed up to the bar around the corner and it was such a good time. It was definitely a good idea to meet up before we went to the concert on Tues. Which we had an absolute BLAST! We were jamming all night! I am enjoying this time so much - it's so much fun to just live it up again. BUT I'm almost afraid that it is too good to be true. Granted I have only been talking to him for a week and a half (HAHAHA LOL!!!), but we get along so good. Now we did talk about the fact that my D isn't final yet, and that we both that we enjoy each other, but neither one of us is looking to jump right into another relationship right now. Is that bad to say? I don't know, I'm just trying to enjoy it for what it is worth I guess. Any comments??

Hey, go with the flow! If both of y'all are not ready for relationships but are having a good time with each other then go for it! Neither one of you has expectations on the other and you're having a good time to boot! :) I would just keep hanging out and doing things so that you can at least get out and do things.
Have fun!
Jennifer
You have to re-nickname him. Funnyguy is taken by Moody and her SO. :) I'll get confused!
So glad you had such a wonderful time! Way to go and keep us updated!
If you are having fun why not? And it certainly sounds like he is a nice guy.
Of course there are many written advice columns, books and posts saying you should take a year after a divorce before you find a real love or relationship. But this is easier said than done.
You sound happy and he sounds like a gentleman - and those are good things.
It sounds like you are both on the same page. Relax and enjoy the company. No need to examine it. It is what it is.
