Well this week I am busy packing packing and getting rid of unneeded furniture and planning on how to decorate my new town house I move into December 17th!!

I close on my house the 10th next Friday and I am so excited. All my debts will be paid off. I already got a new car and I love it! Its a 98 Buick Regal (truth I was upset my dad found a BUICK- once I got in and drove it I love it- leather interior - heated seats - every bell and whistle you can think of)

I found a incredibile church to go to near our new home that is non demoninational and it was perfect - I havent been involved with church since I was a teenager so it feels good-- its HUGE so it has tons of activities not only for me but for Jacob and Justin too. Sunday school -- is not what it used to be thats for sure...its so huge that they have a gym, they will have computer, art, cooking classes, and a FULL rock band for music!! The church is all about walking in AS YOU ARE - no dressing up or being something you are not because GOD will see through it anyway. AND they spoke about how you need something to fill yourself up so that you have something to give to others. Last night I even attended a single moms group there!!

I still speak to Jerry and see him but we are stepping back and we both need to take our own journeys-- if our paths continue great - if not I will be sad but at least I am staying true to who I am. He is helping me out with my move and is being a freind to me.

Oh I also have a appointment monday at my office gym where we have 2 personal trainers to start getting healthy and I hope by my 33rd birthday which is in May to look and feel better about my body because I have really let that go with everything I have gone thru in the last 10 years of my life. I am also contimplating Weight watchers which meets also at my office every Thursday.

Also I am in therapy too and have been for about 2-3 months now and I just love my therapist-- Im not sure I mentioned her but she is a best selling author-- her book is Emotional Unavailabiltiy- Bryn Collins - I found her after reading her book because of what I was going through with Jerry and discovered her practice is right down the road from my work!! She is one inspiring incredible lady and has helped me immensly already OBVIOUSLY :)

So lots of positives for me already! I am looking forward to 2005 that it will be a new chapter in my life and I feel I am growing and learning everyday now!!

WOW Marybeth! That's fantastic! It sounds like your on an incredible roll! Tell me about that church. What do they call themselves? What do they teach if they are non-denominational (did I spell that right)? I think you have made such great leaps and bounds and right before the end of the year, to start the new year off even better. How are the boys doing? Are they really excited?
I totally know what you mean about turning 33 and doing something. Since before my birthday I was already doing some stuff and now I just took up the slack lately and go dancing and stuff more. I can't afford a gym, so I do what I can at home. WHY WEIGHT WATCHERS? Your gorgeous! You don't need that stuff. Just don't eat any fast food, fruit and vegetables and maintain a balance. Remember the 4th GRADE Health class and the basic 4 food groups!

Hugs to you for being so great and doing so great!

P,S: Wasn't it hard to get a therapy session with this lady? Can you tell a little about how she does her sessions? Or something she tells you that you think might work for us. LOL Sounds really interesting!

Thanks--:) For the first time I am proud of myself - feels really good

The church name is Church of the open door - and they believe in God- the holy spirit its just they dont focus on the strict RULES of the many other denominations. Here I copied a few of their values/core beliefs and I hope thats ok? here--

Be Real - Authenticity - God frees us to live honest, loving, and fearless lives.
Belong - Community - God requires and enables us to live connected with Him, and with others in on-going relationships, knowing, accepting, and challenging each other to grow.

CONGRATULATIONS MB!!!

I am so please for you and PROUD OF YOU! You are taking your life in hand, and doing what you want.

Great news on getting involved in the church and going to that single mom's group. I know that is sometimes such a difficult step to take. I pray you get lots of encouragement and are able to make some solid encouraging relationships soon. This is SO GOOD for your guys too!

Thank you for sharing all of this. VERY inspiring.
