Update on me and my ewww moment

I have been a little off lately. I got the LSAT scores back and didn't do well enough to get a scholarship and I am a bit disappointed but I am working on it--My parents are thinking about co-signing a GradPlus loan for me--their decision will pretty much make up my mind on what my next step will be...

Dating wise--nothing too exciting. I thought I had a lot in common with one guy on eHarmony, he was a little chunkier in his pics than I normally go for but I was willing to look past that...until he called! His voice is so annoying--higher pitched and kind of nerdy--it is so silly but on the phone with him I almost burst out laughing thinking about *that* voice whispering sweet nothings in my ear. How sad is it that I don't even want to give a guy a chance because of his voice?!?!

Okay--now my ewwww moment! I live next door to a very nice Italian man who is about 20 years older than me (and married, happily I thought!) He is always doing things for all the neighbors--bringing over food, fresh baked bread, fresh veggies from his garden--mowing lawns--he is a perfect neighbor. Every so often he makes comments that are not normally socially acceptable like "I noticed that you are on the computer a lot, are you going to school?" or "your kitchen looks really nice after your Dad updated it"--creepy because he has never been in my house...oh trust me--I put up better curtains after that but I kept brushing it off b/c he is Italian--thinking he thought it was okay to say things like that.

EWWWWWWW!!!!!!

That's just plain creepy about the perv neighbor. I'd be really careful around him. Definately refuse to go into his place alone and don't let him into your place. That's so sick about the whose sexual astrology thing and the full body massage?? OMG!!

I get the voice thing, too. I have a thing about voices. I can't get into a guy with a high pitched or whiny voice, just can't. Don't feel bad. There was a Nova science program on once that explained why women are attracted to a deeper voice and men prefer woman with a feminine voice. I feel in love with BE's deep voice early on.

I'm sorry about your LSAT but with your persistance and enthusiasm you will find a way! You are bright and determined...you will do it!

That really sucks about the scholarship :( I'm sorry. Hopefully your parents decide to co-sign that would be great!

EW. on the neighbor. BIG EW. EW EW EW EW EW EWWWWWYYYY!!!!! I have no advice, but alison gave GREAT advice about mentioning his wife, never going over there if she isn't there and just a polite "no thank you" should be suffice. UGH

Have you thought about threatening to tell his wife?

LOL Oh my what a man !!
Yeah just avoid him as much as you can & maybe try to speak to his wife more than him. What a creep! I hope the mosy neighbour across the road does not start rumours! Maybe next time you see his wife ask if the computer is working better & explain what you did .....
As for voices I'm EXACTLY the same!
I'm sorry to hear that you did not get the scholarship {{{hugs}}}

well with the one incident I actually did tell the wife. with the other one I moved away from that neighborhood and I guess I wouldnt have threatened simply because I dont like empty threats, and as I didnt know them well I felt no obligation to tell her and further the drama in the process.
