Update on others on the radar....

Hi all,

I don't have as much time as I used to to get online... but I thought I would update on some of the others (besides Hotty Richard).

Last Saturday I saw Goofyguy at karaoke. Although he never called, he was friendly and invited me to sit with him and his friend... I kinda felt disconnected though since he didn’t call. I mingled with him from time to time but didn’t spend the whole night with him.

Dark Horse guy: I’ve seen this guy at my karaoke hang out a few times. The same night I met Hotty, which is why I didn’t mention him in the past… But he came up to me, compliment my version of “Paradise City” and invited me to sing a duet with him. Unfortunately, I didn’t know the duet… and I was distracted by Hotty. But Dark Horse didn’t come up to me again that night… A week later (yes, Birdie and I love long this hangout)…. Dark Horse and a friend of his named Sam, invited themselves to our table to chat. So, I finally got to know him and realized he was sooooo immature. Not a connection. His friend, Sam, however asked for my number, wanted to know how/when he could see me again. He was cute, but not really my type, and he was too young. So I let him down easy and we’re still friends.

As far as coworkers… they are all pretty much off the radar now. Still friends, but that’s it. And I’m not interested in OLD at the moment.

So I haven’t given up the idea of meeting more new eligibles, but Hotty is certainly at the top of the list so far….

Have a nice weekend,
Loonybunny

Sometimes meeting new people and making connections means recognizing when they aren't matches. I spent a lot of time on dates that were obviously not going anywhere, simply because it was great to be dating.

While I never had a really horrible experience, sometimes I'd just wish I was home with a good book or my music.

Kudos to you for seeing that some guys you meet simply won't be right for you, and not wasting your time. I also like the way you continue to do what you enjoy doing, and if that brings you closer to meeting someone, great, but if not, you're still enjoying yourself.

Keep us posted!

Moody, wishing she were singing karaoke tonight
