The fiesta last night was so much fun! WE played charades and ate together and talked a lot. I've decided I think that Izzy is a little too much boy and not enough man. He's LOADS of fun to flirt with and all, but I need a man who can hold up his end of a relationship. Izzy isn't that yet.

There are lots of fish in the sea though. And there is a steady stream of new faces at the iglesia....3 new guys came last night.

I'm not worried. I'm just going to teach my classes (which I LOVE, I'm going to have them play scrabble tonight if the class isn't too big) and hang out with my compadres...it's a warm spot to be.

That all sounds great Candi! I know what you mean about you needing a man, even though flirting with the boy is fun. I've actually had a ... well, for lack of a better term, a boy-toy. And it was fun. But did NOT meet any needs, except the need to have fun. ;)

Scrabble! What a great idea!!!

Yep, I've had enough of "toys"...and playing games...where men are concerned. I want someone who is in this for real. There was someone else being VERY sweet to me last night, his name is Diego. He's been quiet up till now, but parties seem to bring people out. Heck it brought ME out. I couldn't keep from dancing every time I crossed the room. That latin music is too good to sit down to.

Scrabble will be english only. It will be a blast!

You are on the right track. And lots of fish in the sea is a good thing. May your catch be fruitful!!

I like the idea of scrabble - you are a fun teacher!! What a way to learn new words!!

It was great. I only had two students, my faithful carmen and israel, but that was perfect. my daughter played with us and helped. Pastor ended up helping, he couldn't resist...LOL...it was so cute. He loves games. He even got out the camera to snap some pics. Israel won, but we really all did because we all helped each other. It's like with my kids. They ALWAYS won at scrabble, till they started beating me for real and THEN I got serious.

They had to speak english to get their scores counted by the scorekeeper, and to get the tiles passed. And they had to look up each word that was put down and tell me what it meant. It was great. And they were so involved I am sure they won't forget those words.

Next time I think we'll play bilingual. Me with spanish words and them with english.

That sounds like a fun little party. I love Scrabble. I have a Spanish Scrabble version, but no one to play it with.

It sounds like you know what you want in a man. That's a good sign. You'll find someone who meets your needs.

If it ain't fun, I don't do it. Which doesn't mean you don't do hard things...I do karate for crying out loud. But I have fun doing it. I plan to always be around people who enjoy whatever they do...it's a key to enjoying life.
