VDay - Your Plans - for all - dating/not
| Sat, 02-09-2008 - 5:39pm |
Okay - this is a killer day for those not dating - because I know all too well how it feels not to have a special someone to be your Valentine. I know. I can already imagine what Cat is going to say!! ;-)
BUT BUT. I think it is fun to share. I think this helps everyone - it is fun to hear what those are dating are doing - it gives us all something to hope for. And for those not dating it is a relief to read that many are not dating and it is another day.
1. For those of you dating and in relationships - what are you going to do? Do you know yet? If you are not dating what are you doing?
2. Do you do or make anything fun with the kids?
3. What is your favorite flower?
4. What kind of chocolate do you like?

I had to reply, this is the first Valentine's ever that I will actually be doing something romantic!
1. For those of you dating and in relationships - what are you going to do? Do you know yet? If you are not dating what are you doing? Not doing anything except being with dd. Last week I picked up the movie "Fly Away Home" for dd. She was trying to find our copy that we had on video until I reminded her that the vcr ate it. It is one of her favorites. I ran across is on dvd so I picked it up for her.
2. Do you do or make anything fun with the kids? If I can sneak around her and accomplish it, I'll be making a heart-shaped strawberry cake for her. Did that one year and she has remembered it ever since.
3. What is your favorite flower? Daisies, daisies and more daisies...all varieties
4. What kind of chocolate do you like? Hershey kisses are my favorites
Not much here.

TOO FUNNY!!!
Oy!
Spent the evening with Blue Eyes yesterday and sorta fell off my high horse as far as V-Day expectations but it's OK. See we were driving along and he started venting about how money is tighter this month as he is paying off Italy and other things witch I totally understand. He sounded stressed so I just said "do you think we should cancel dinner plans for V-Day" or something like that. He said no, he still wants to take me to dinner. He said something about not being able to give me a dozen roses and I said something silly like "that's OK, my office could really use flowers but I can go and get some anytime!) I was just being lighthearted. He took that to assume I would be heartbroken if I didn't get flowers. In reality I would prefer flowers delivered to my office over anything else, over dinner or candy or cards or anything but I would be fine w/o. I
I would kill for a 75 degree day!
