contact. 1st, the possible new guy. While waiting for dd to fall asleep in the tent the other nite, I was exhausted, but perusing CL ads to try to stay awake. I came across ONE that looked promising (AKA: NORMAL, lol)

Ok I am just going to say upfront and with no shame that even though that email was for you I found it very stimulating and have a crush on him myself - I can practically hear the accent through the words on the screen. I know - greedy of me since I have a hot man with an accent right here. LOL
He sounds genuinely excited about meeting YOU which is so refreshing since I know with a lot of online dating the person gets excited to go out, have a date, try and be sexy etc. but it is rarely about actually meeting that person specifically - he has really taken a shine to you!!
The first person I loved after my divorce when DS was 2 was an opera singer I met online. I remember emails very much like the ones you are getting. YOu dont want to believe it is really a good thing waiting to happen because you are fearful you will be disappointed but you know what - we were together for almost a year and a half! I think neither of us could deal with the constant distance to be honest but we were a great match and we are still in touch to this day...
I have high hopes for this one for you. He sounds great. And should there be a ceremony of any kind in your future and because I have a thing for him already vicariously and am an absolute SMAD fan of yours, can I play violin at the event? hehe....

woohoo I like him. You can give him a hint that he can find internet cafes (tons of them) everywhere. So he may write to you.

Nothing like an intercontinental romance ;-)

May be in a short while Rebecca may be writing messages to the board from near Alps. I cant wait to hear your date story. He seems genuine and serious (those are hard to find). I think you should take him seriously even if it is a long distance thing now.. Things could change , you never know.
