Hi to all. Today is Wednesday - YEAH!!

Tell us at least 2 things that are making your day go well today. Of course if there are 2 things that are making it bad we can hear about that too.

MINE:

1) The stove works and it made my first meal today - oatmeal
2) My new kitchen looks great - I keep staring at it in disbelief!

ok two good things - I'm in a melancholy mood so this should help.

1. I turned in my paperwork to HR for health insurance so I will have health/dental/vision/life insurance (for only $26 twice a month) for the first time in years.

2. Today is my cousin's birthday and I remembered to send her an ecard.

Wow that was hard. I really had to pull those out.

Hmmm two good things...

I eat my M & M's by two's of the same color. Today it worked out that at the end of the package it came out even by color. I take that a sign of good fortune to come! LOL

My dinner of potatoe soup is cooking as I am at work, so I will have dinner cooked for me and my DD so we can sit down with our favorite program tonight....."Lost"

1. My daughter already knows her spelling words for the week and it is only Wednesday!

2. The weather finally turned cold enough to start cooking some winter foods like stew and chili. Gotta love Texas weather. We go from 80 degrees one day and down to freezing the next!

It doesn't take alot to make my day!

Two good things:

1.) My daughter made me a great little work of art that is now hanging gloriously on my fridge! She made it in church tonight - it's adorable!

2.) My mom and step-dad took my daughter and me out to dinner before church tonight. It was nice to sit around and talk with my family - plus the dinner was free! :)

I was having such a bad day at work yesterday and I went home kind of po'd. When I picked up my dd from the sitter, she gave me her report card, nearly all A's! I was like, whoopee! She started a honors music program in a new school, and quite frankly I was worried that it may all be a bit much for her(brutal sched.) because of her good grades, she's being inducted into the honor society and will recieve an award in an upcomming ceremony. She's like so blase about though, I'm jumping hoops, and she's like, yawn, it's allright. God save me from puberty!
