While most of you are starting your working day, I am in Europe so it's almost home time for me! Which, of course, means that it's almost the weekend. YAY!!!!
The kids are at home this weekend, and tonight we're having a pizza and dvd evening in front of a lovely log fire. Sounds romantic, hey. It is I suppose, but the real reason is that we just had our boiler fixed and the radiators are not working properly yet! Fingers crossed the repair guy made it to the boiler room this morning through the piles of sledges, furry boots and homework (lol) that are littering the floor!
Then tomorrow night, my folks are here, so we have two very willing babysitters, and are going to some friends' for dinner and Playstation karaoke... Monkey will sing, but only under great duress, or after a couple of beers. So let's roll out the barrel!
Anyway, just wanted to wish you all a great weekend. Hope to check in to read everyone's stories.
Have fun, y'all ;o)
Clem xx

Clemmy, have a wonderful time with your fire, and your karaoke!
I'm positive my weekend is going to be splendid. After my date tonight with Boss, tomorrow I'm taking the kids skiing for their first time. My friend and her son are coming, too, and Boss is planning to come, as well.
Sunday the kids and I will enjoy each other at home with no worries. I have some homework that I need to catch up on, and the weather's supposed to get COLD here Sunday, which means it'll be a wonderful day to be snuggled up to my woodstove, playing board games with the kids and finishing my homework.
Moody, whose day can't go fast enough!

Have fun skiing! Hope you have lots of snow. I'm going again w/M at the end of the month. The X is taking the kids for Rodeo weekend (in Tucson the schools close for Rodeo-yee haww) S18 is going skiing w/ friends and so I'm free to go for a long weekend. Gotta hit the gym again to keep my legs in shape so I can keep up w/ M.
I took M to the opera last night. He seemed to enjoy it, at least he said he did. Opera is a passion of mine I don't expect any guy I date to share, at least M was willing to give it a try. He said he found the story surprisingly intense for something written so long ago, and the music was very good. We'll see if he's willing to go again next month. He definitely appreciated my apparel. The opera was Madama Butterfly so I had my hair up in a top knot and wore a black silk jacket w/ a mandarin collar, a tight camesole (w/ Victoria's Secret cleavage enhancing bra) and black pants. M got dressed up and wore a jacket w/ a tie. We both have our kids this weekend so no after opera fun.
The rest of my weekend is study for school and spend time with the kids.
The opera sounds wonderful! I've never been to one (not exactly living in a cultural hub here) but it's definitely on my list of things to do.
Sounds like you looked hot, as my 8yo would say! Glad you had a good time.
Moody, practicing her arias
