I'm so glad that your cabin weekend went so well and the fam loves SEV. Sounds like a really nice time! I needed to laugh today and your description of belt buckle guy has me giggling. Seriously, that's too funny~! He'll be safe in a shoot-out, that belt buckle will stop a bullet maybe.
I'm so glad to hear your update. And thanks for the laughs :o)
I'm laughing so hard there are tears in my eyes. Your post is so descriptive I can just see it. OK so I hope my Thanksgiving with M's parents is NOT quite like that. They live in a retirement community in Orlando. We're staying in a neighbors unit because they're out of town for Thanksgiving and wanted a house sitter. Phew. M was sweating the sleeping arrangements at his parents place, now no problem. I feel like I'm a teenager. QueenBun

A wedding my sister attended this weekend actually had this as a story. The mom of the bride got up to give a speech and she said she knew the groom was the one for her daughter when he insisted on doing the dishes.
Yay Moon!!! I'm so glad it went well! Even better than well! :-D
That's also cool that it was "easy" where everyone was able to be laid-back and enjoy their time together. It's never good when meeting family includes tension, and I'm happy that there wasn't any!
I love your descriptions of the people... hilarious!
