Abreva works for me every time with a cold sore. As soon as I feel it I put it on and it's always so much better after that. None others work as well for me. Definitely try to get that RX too that Rebecca said. Cold sores are so awful. Poor dd!

The rest sounds great. My dd had an evaluation at a new gymnastics gym on Saturday and the accepted her in starting in Jan. We are both so sad to leave her current gym, but this one is 1/2 the price, 3 times the size and brand new. I think it's going to be great. And if not, we'll go back to our old one with tails between our legs, lol. I haven't really posted about it here, but my dd is very talented in gymnastics. She has real potential and it's her passion.

That's awesome about your dd in gymnastics, Liz. What a great activity for her self esteem as well as fitness and everything else. My dd took ballet for years, up until this year..and its amazing what dance/gym does for their posture and discipline.

I don't know if that med is the same thing but for a cold sore I take valrex(i know weird) but i swear it works. i also have a cream that I put on for blisters and cold sores and its a n RX too. i can't find it or remember the name but within 24 hrs its usually not swollen or itchy.
