I don't have kids this weekend and I've decided to take a "me" weekend.

Sounds like a full weekend, Isys- and it's good you're giving EG his time with the kids. You know he'll probably call you anyway and ask you over and throw a wrench in your whole prodictive sounding weekend, lol.

I'm going to the company picnic this afternoon. Then a swim and then hope to chill out at my place with a movie and dinner in. I'm accompanying BE to his bowling tournamant down in Orange County this weekend so we'll leave very early in the morning and return Sunday night.

DD is back and settled in again. My ex is doing so much better these days which is great for her. She is stating with him Saturday night and she's looking forward to it. She told me she missed him.

I'm trying to keep afloat at work- I've been behind since returning from vacation!!

That will probably happen because he doesn't realize yet that I'm giving him the time.

I totally get what you are saying about EG and his kids, and you and your kids. You have to be comfortable, everyone together, to move forward. Is EG approachable to talk about it? Does he know how you when his kids are there? And that you felt like a third wheel? maybe you guys can talk about it and get into his head about how his kids really feel.

It has been quite an adjustment for BE to get used to my dd. She has been raised soooo differently that BE and his ex raised their kids. I'm not judging- but totally different. He left most the parenting up to his wife. And she was kind of a basket case in ways, so his kids were raised under a heavy hand by her (and not

Oh I forget to answer about my ex.

Yes...he got a position at the hospital he already worked at which is good. Better pay and better position and hours. He is still same old ex but with a better job, lol. That is good news for dd and that he can afford mre now and be more stable :o)
