Weekend plans?

I know, I'm suppose to be working but DANG IT!, it's almost 2:30 on a Friday afternoon and I'm ready to go home. This is really pitiful because I came back to work on Wednesday and had been off since Dec. 21. So it's only been a 3-day week for me. It was fairly busy but not too bad.

My ex called me this afternoon and said he would be working this weekend, but would pick up DD Sunday at 12:00 and would take her shopping for shoes for basketball. Translation .... I will be kid free for 2 1/2 hours Sunday afternoon. So, looks like it'll be me and the kiddo again. Might catch a movie or something. I have tons I could do at the house but whether or not any of it will get done is another story LOL. And DD14 and I have been cooped up with each other the whole time I was off work and she was out of school. We both acted like bears and hibernated.

Are you going to the bookstore? ;-)

Not much going on here - I am so buried at my desk that I am still working and working - will work and work out and have fun with DS.

No plans but maybe playing with the Wii with the kids, and watching the NFL playoff games!!!

Hiker wants to do something, but I'm not sure yet, if we will or not.

Am I just brimming with an exciting life, or what?!? ;-)

"Saturday day/afternoon or whenever my DS wakes up then we'll figure something out to do together."

That's so aggravating...makes you want to wake them up and say LET'S GO! They say you're suppose to let teenagers sleep but DANG!

Good luck with the overnight with CNDG! Sounds like you two are having a blast!

About as exciting as mine Shrimps. But it doesn't hurt to take a break from drama now and again and you have your fair share of it lately. So you just go ahead and Wii Wii all the way home!

Yeah.. I only have my kids 1/2 weekends (Fri night, Sat day) every week so when they do Fri night things with their friends and sleep until noon or later then go back to their mother's by 5 pm Sat then I only get 3 - 4 hours of activity face-to-face awake time.

M is in PHX but will be back about 7pm. A friend of mine e-mailed me a notice about this new professionals networking thing at the art museum. It starts at 9pm so M and I have decided to check it out. Includes food, drink, music- all in and on the grounds of the art museum. Tomorrow he has a party in PHX we'll go to in the evening, I think I met these people once. If we go up early, I'll check out some of the bridal shops for a flower girl dress for D3. I've struck out completely here, my niece has something specific in mind. And Sun I'm making us dinner here at my house. It'll be a football day for sure. While he watches football I can finish our masks for the big Opera Masked Ball next weekend.
