Hey everyone!! How was your weekend?
I had fun at my race - took 6th place for my age group and raced strong all day - can't complain about that!!
Biggest tidbit here is that I ran into the lifeguard. Well, sort of. You see, I do have this funny devil in me. It was about 10 minutes to race start for him. I saw him walking around close by to dump some trash and he didn't see me but I knew that he would. So, right next to me was like the hottest guy you ever did see - and my age, too.
Okay - so I started chatting with MrHottie - asked him if he ever did this race - and what races has he done. So we are full tilt in a very engaging conversation when such lifeguard happened to see me. And I ignored him!!! HAHAHA! Okay and so I was bad too that it did look like I could be with that guy.
Can't help it - devilish I know - but he was such a louse to do what he did. It is like too bad so sad buddy.
Oh - and the guy? He is married and from another state. Gave me great tips about the bike course and some piles of sand to watch out for. LOL!!
Hope everyone chimes in about the fun and frolics that they had too this weekend. I know we have some who are dating and looking for dates as well as just enjoying the one they are dating or not dating all all - everyone can post their stories!!

I will go next :-)
I can say I had a " sucessfull weekend".. execpt that I havent yet done my laundry and cleaning up my place.
Me and my guy
My weekend was nothing special. I had my kids this weekend so we were around the house mostly just doing chores. Shy had a soccer game on Saturday morning and we stayed with all the other parents for a bout 30 - 40 min and all the kids played on the playground. Got their Halloween costumes later in the afternoon.
We did a lot of cleaning on Sunday. Went for a long walk (3 miles) that they did very well with until we were about 1/2 from the finish. Then they started saying "I'm tired" "When are we going to be finished"...
I am probably going to head out to a Meetup this week or next. I want to start dating. I am very lonely and since people aren't falling in my lap, I will need to do something to make it happen.

Judy, i love the devilish side of you!
My weekend was actually rather uneventful- Friday night funnyguy and I went on a date, dinner and then met a couple of my friends for a drink.

Dont you just love letting the devil out sometimes ;)!!
My weekend was fairly uneventful although I did get in a cleaning mood Saturday. Even took the dogs to get groomed Sat. a.m. I was in one of those "nesting" moods where while you're cleaning, you think of something else to do and you think it'll just take a minute, so you do it. Unfortunately about 4:30 (had been going since 7:00 a.m.) I sat down and did not clean one other thing. I had run out of steam. So my DD and I rented a movie, got some take out at McD's and went home with our dinner and movie. About half way through we paused it and made a quick trip to the store for yeah, you guessed it, CANDY! Particularly chocolate. It was a good night.
Sunday afternoon was spent at a school basketball game while DD was doin her thing cheerleading. For the girls to have had only had like 3 practices, they did very well.
Sunday night for some reason I got a little melancholy(?) thinking about passed relationships and wishing I had someone by my side, but then got myself out of it by thinking "WHY? You're doin good on you own." Looked back on Saturday and Sunday with my daughter and thought that was a good time.
Sharon----doin her own thang!!:)
It was Chemistry and Physics weekend at Texas A&M University!
Oh how fun, Soonee! I would've loved a weekend like that! I must be a geek- because the science stuff is soooo cool. It's just too bad you had to enter Aggieland for it though... I hope you didn't catch anything... ;-) lol
And I would LOVE to see Lion King on Broadway (even the tour would be good enough for me!). I'm not sure if I ever will- but I would love to see it, because I know I would be simply AMAZED at how they accomplished every little part of it, from the scenes to the costumes to the puppetry to the music... I'd be like a kid if I was there, wowing at everything! I'm jealous!
My weekend was pretty quiet. Went to a hockey game with Hiker on Friday night, then dinner. Spent the rest of the weekend with the kids, watching football (Go Cowboys! and darn it for Texas Tech) and getting laundry done. I'm also crocheting my happy little head off as well. So it was a relaxing weekend.
Today I'm at home with a sick kid. Bummer on it all! But what can you do!?!

I had a great weekend on paper but I don't feel great.
Maybe the moon is in a "funk phase". I got that way Sun. evening.
Keep counting your blessings...this too shall pass.
Sharon
