As you know I've emailing back and forth with the online guy, I'll call him Hunter, cause he likes to hunt. anyway, he had told me he would be hunting this weekend and wouldn't be back until Sunday. I got a message from him and he said he would be online around 9. We've never really used the chat feature Cupid has except for one time and then it was a very, very short time I'd say approximately 5 minutes worth if that long.
So I'm sitting here flipping back and forth between the Cupid window and IVillage window and I see a new message on Cupid. It was from him leaving me a one sentencer message and he wasn't showing up as "online". It's like I blinked and missed him being online. Maybe he doesn't like the chat thing? I could definitely use the three initials here that I used in my post to Rebecca....WTF? He had mentioned that he's not online alot, but in my mind I'm thinking, then why bother with it, you know? And why tell me when he's going to be online and then only be online for 3 seconds?
I sent him another message: LOL so what were you on for 3 seconds. I think I blinked and I missed you.
Maybe its just me. I had a family matter come up today (I have 5 bros. & sisters) and I think 2 of them are fixing to butt heads and one of them is trying to drag me into it. So I was looking forward to him being online and maybe chatting, not just emailing. At any rate, its almost 10 and my brains are tired so I signed out of Cupid.

The online/chat thing could be a technical issue/problem of Cupid. Who knows? That is why I don't like online communication for (1) it sucks for conveying how we feel (2) it is not timely for the other person may not get it right away or login in often (3) technical problems of the ISP or the website or the other person's computer or whatever
