"He wants his own family desperately"

I smell smother - and TOTALLY understand because that happened to me. Well, after what you type here, singlehood is not so bad. I agree with what you write - all of it - and think you made the best decision for you. Always listen to your gut and put you and the kids first - can't go wrong with that.

Sorry you had to end it - that is never pleasant and the aftermath of thinking and being alone is not always so pretty - but it fades fast.

HUGS!

He just validated your decision. He reminds me of MA. I am so happy without the stress of MA and his irritations in my life! You will be this way too in time. Keep us posted! Don't talk to him anymore!!

Thank you for validating the my feelings regarding that comment. Sometimes I think I am overly sensitive and I have worked very hard in my life to try and let things just roll off my back.

Rose, I'm sorry to hear you are going through this painful situation, but I do believe you made the right decision for the right reasons.

hey i can truly relate - I am on the over sensitive side - and I have also worked very hard to be able to accept constructive criticism, and now I have to somehow try and teach my own daughter how not to over react to every little thing she doesnt like - whew quite a challenge - teaching your offspring something you have only just got a grip on at almost 45!!lol

anyway back to your situation:

Join the wagon with some of the other members and myself that decided to part ways. I believe 2008 will bring great things and a great someone. Focusing on other things sounds wonderful.

Going through my good and bad days too! It's been two weeks and some days are great and I don't give it a thought and others are just pitiful. Mainly when I'm all alone. Like you I don't have family and closest friends. It makes it hard not to have a shoulder. The other friends I have are more fair weather. Ya know?
