You are so kind to think of me and ask. I have been to the coffee shop a few times - but no Norwegian hottie!
Today was not that much fun - I was at a funeral all day. :-( I felt bad for my sister's inlaws - it was just so sad. That is my 2nd funeral in a month.
I am talking a lot more to the kayakman - and I think I am really starting to like what I see and hear so far. He is really polite and spends a lot of time taking care of his dad and just checks off all the boxes. And we are on the same page in life and with what we want. But it is still early - so wait and see.
DS is doing well - he has been calling - and is coming home soon. I miss him.
Thanks, Laurie - it was really hard today. Watching my BIL's mom - as she watched her daughter's casket being put into the wall was just so hard - everyone in the building physically lost it and just gasped when they saw that. My BIL's sister had cancer - and although we knew she was going downhill fast, she died so suddenly - and her mom took it very hard - she is very old and feeble. As parents we can only try to imagine what she felt. It is not supposed to be that way.

Not a fun update - but an update, right?

I can imagine after seeing all this how that did make it much harder for you. :-(
