What are the chances...?

Hi All,

So I'm trying to be positive here.... What are the chances that I bumped into my next date when I backed into someone's bumper?? This past Tuesday night I backed into a parked car. It was late so I have no idea who it was... I left my name and number.

When I called the police... I was at least hoping for a cute single officer...lol. I didn't notice a ring but he was wearing those dark glasses. The accident was very minor and he didn't make a report. He told me only to leave my name and number for the person to call me later for insurance info.... But I still asked for his card just in case I need a witness... ;-) He was able to get the owners name but no local address.

Well, today the owner of the vehicle finally called. He seemed nice considering I damaged his car.... So, am I crazy for thinking... is he single? good looking? From his insurance info he's probably Navy.

Hey, gotta always stay open and keep my radar on....

ok, confused....
Did you talk to him more? Get any info that he might single? Do you even know what he looks like? At first I thought you were thinking cute cop, but now I see you are looking into Mr. Accident. LOL.

Well, that would be quite a stroke of luck - you never know - and you do have the right attitude and spirit!

Hahahaha, I think that would be hilariously funny. No one was injured, obviously the cars weren't damaged too much, and what a story that would make!

If it helps any, I went through a phase where I learned VERY quickly how to do the "ring check", got really good at it, and began doing it EVERYWHERE!!! Unfortunately, I work and live in an area where many men don't wear rings even if they are married because of their jobs.

For me, it wasn't always an indication of singledom, but some men simply look married. I got pretty good at telling that way, too.

Don't feel silly, I did exactly the same thing when I was looking!

Moody, thinking signs are everywhere
