Right. My intention, as you all know, is never to have him not see her. But even crap like when i wanted to bring her to Italy. He refused to sign for her passport. I had to spend $750 to get a court order to get him to sign. Thats just stupid!!!

I'm so glad you are moving forward and fighting for sole custody. It took me 4 years to get it, but I never let go and I knew sooner or later, they were going to get tired of his excuses and crap and see who the real parent was. Now that I have sole custody I am so much happier. I make sure that my X husband has all the details and is part of my decision making but ultimately, if he were to say No about something that was really dumb (for instance in Loonys case regarding moving for a better job), it would never stand up and that's worth a million.
I can't wait to hear how things progress. I'm not much of a church goer, but I'll put in a blessing for you in my thoughts and cross my fingers while holding a rabbits foot in my other hand. :)
I totally agree with Soonee on this one. You have to legally protect yourself and I think in your case that sole custody is definitely warranted. You have shown time and again that you do what her father in her life - but not if she is going to be severely harmed by his anger and his actions - which is what he is doing - and progressing in a scary way. You are clearly showing that you do want him to get better and you are spending a lot of time and money and emotion on that process. And you can let the doc know you are dedicated to this but you have to seek your own legal protection. Because you are in contempt of court by withholding and you don't want to stay that way. I pray you get everything you need and smooth and quick. Hang in there!! There is light around the corner. This is a huge thing and will keep Taz in his place.
I think you are making the right decision to move forward with pursuing sole custody. I am also happy to hear the psych is going to stick with his opinion that Taz isn't stable. I know you can do this. Hang in there!! Stephanie
Good luck, Rebecca. I'll be thinking about you. I always like to think that justice will do what is right- and I agree totally that Averey should be in your sloe custody, as you are the stable one who can make rational and reasonable decisions on her behalf- TAZ has proven he cannot.
YES!
