I am curious - what is your love language?

1) Words of affirmation
2) Quality time
3) Acts of service
4) Receiving gifts
5) Physical touch

http://www.fivelovelanguages.com/30sec.html - that is the quiz to help you determine.

Do you think the other person you are dating must have one that is compatible? Or is it just an awareness thing of what each other likes? Thoughts? Experiences?

I am totally, without question, a "quality time" person. I think the others are important - but if someone can make time for me then they are gold!

I am a quality time person (secondary is probably physical touch)--no surprise that I was so disappointed this weekend after not seeing lawstudent for 2.5 weeks...quality time means a lot to me!

My primary language os Words of Affirmation. I feel valued the most when I hear it in words or in writing. I am also expressive in my words so I give love the same way.

Second and a close running for first is physical touch and affection. I could not imagine being in a relationship without a lot of affection and touch. Second place goes hand in hand with Quality time.

Blue Eyes an I are on the same page. Except that his number one is tied also with "Acts of Service". Not only does he do things for me all the time just because, he also truly appreciative when I do things for him. I have to work on that because I don't automatically think about acts of service.

Last on my list is gift giving. Those little things are nice but not necessary.
