I really don't know what will happen this weekend.

Hey what do you know I actually have five minutes to post.

Today I spent the morning shuttling kids to their therapist. Went to work at 2:30 pm, still here for another few minutes saw 23 students in 5 hours. That's really busy for me.

Thanks for asking.

She is doing very well. After the breathing tube came out her doctor wanted her to stay in the hospital for a few days but she refused. He ordered her to take at least five days off work and she refused. She went home that afternoon and worked a night shift that night. She has not had any problems since then. She has cut back a little on the work hours to reduce her stress level.

Not a whole lot that is set for the weekend, except for laundry. Exciting, no?? It's Labor Day and we have 3 days... and no plans!

I just had a crazy dinner thing with Hiker and his family last night though. I went to his house and helped him cook some stir fry dishes for his youngest daughter's birthday party. She's in her 20's and her birthday was actually last weekend, but this was the first time they could get everyone free to celebrate. Hiker was going to make a stir fry- but when he called me from the store on Wednesday evening, shopping for all the wrong things (lol)... I volunteered to do the cooking for him instead. It was fun (though chaotic for a bit) and I made from scratch, a beef dish with green pepper, onions and broccoli in a black bean sauce, served with a fried rice. And a chicken dish with carrots, snow peas, bamboo shoots, straw mushrooms, ginger and a light sweet and spicy sauce that was served with noodles. Whew!!! That was alot of cooking! But it was fun, as Hiker and I worked together in the kitchen... me directing a bit, but we were both doing the chopping and prep before I did the actual cooking. Everyone loved the food! Yay! His oldest daughter REALLY loved it (she's soooo not picky, just like me) and she even gave me a hug before she left. It was kinda neat. All his daughters are in their 20's, so it's not like I'm needing to be a "mom" in any way to them, nor have I been trying to win them over in any way- but to finally have something happen naturally over time... it was just neat. Just let it all evolve as it evolves. :-)

Hiker talked about playing golf this weekend, but the Texas mosquitoes are at their scariest right now- and they could probably carry off my clubs... if we go play, we will have to BATHE in the bug spray first. Yikes for any outdoor activities right now...

I need to get in some NAKIE TIME but so far, nothing planned. I just love it that the term Nakie Time has gotten such great use here on the board! wooohoooo!

Tonight my daughter and I went to eat chinese food at a restaurant and rented a movie for the night (plus I have a bottle of wine). I met my young hottie for lunch today. It was all good. Tomorrow night we are going to hang out together for his birthday. I think he just might get a birthday kiss from me, since it'll be the third time we've seen each other and you know the three times rule for me. Once I've met a guy three times, they then get a kiss. And he has these really kissable lips.
During the day it'll be home depot day and preparing a little for alex's bday party coming.

Sunday not sure, Monday I have a picnic to attend.

That's about it!
