2007 has definitely has some different things going on dating wise. I've had loads of REALLY great dates, so I can't decide. I wouldn't consider my first one's the greatest one's but when I think greatest date, I think the first 3 to choose from before deciding where the relationship is going.

The worst of 2007, definitely goess to Mr. Comb over that didn't have a picture and stated he was very attractive and when I saw him, he was NOTHING but disgusting. I was saved though, by two really awesome guys, who noticed I was in trouble. The guy ended up leaving and the other two guys, who didn't know each other, ended up buying me drinks and chatting the night away. So alls well that ends well.

Awww thanks cl-west for singling me out. I have met MANY women who have become my friends. Right now in the past couple of months about 6 of them found significant others. I figure it's my turn soon. I got a "nibble" from Plenty Of Fish. I also know that OLD is a HUGE crapshoot so I am not hyped up about it.

There are a couple of women I would LOVE to hang out with (not date or have a romantic relationship with) but they are not returning my phone calls despite my initial (in person) connection with them. I figure that they are more into their lives, working their romantic angles, or just dissing me which seems typical in general.

In the meantime I get my emotional sustenance from this iVillage.

Hugs,
Mark

This is going to sound so awful. My best date ever was with my now ex husband. This was many years ago.
We went to dinner, then a comedy club, then went out to shoot pool. To this day - that is still my dream date.
He was a good guy while we were dating, but once we moved in together, expected me to be the womanly, wifely role.
Things are bad now (we are divorced), but we had the best first date = he would agree.

I don't think I have had a good date since :(

She phrased the criticism in such a way by saying "I want to offer this to you as a gift..."

How lovely.

I love how you phrased that! "A silk-wrapped insult." Perfectly phrased.

This reminded me of another time when I was dealing with a guy in a Men's Group. He was in my face and was saying "I'm really trying to love you..." God how patronizing and his energy there had nothing to do with love. I dropped out after that incident.

Thanks!
