What's your refridgerator look like?

And I am talking about the OUTSIDE, not the inside please. :)
I was wondering this the other day about other people, as I took a better look at my clean apartment and the only eyesore was...the Fridge/Freezer door!
It's a nightmare. But I can't bring myself to change it. It's like an ever evolving pop art display.
I've got....
Word Poetry
Cards my sister has made
Pictures of new infants (Who are pushing a year old now...or more)
Drawings from Tyler
Pizza Coupons
A collection of magnets from all over, some in use, some not.
Sticky notes with phone numbers of Ty's friends (who needs an address album?)
a magnet displaying measurements for the "conversion handicapped" like me
A STUPIDLY annoying thing with chimes that ring when you open the freezer (Jas's contribution. Again, don't know why we still have it)
Ty's school schedule
Ultrasound picture
Picture of my parents on their motorcycle (cause they're cute!)
I know there are some other oddball things there. And this stuff is just SLAPPED on there, any which way, constantly "oozing" down the fridge from the opening and closing action. No rhyme or reason. No neatness.

When we put our house on the market in 2003 our realtor told us all the kid-art and coupons had to come off the refrigerator door. We did as instructed and were *astounded* at how much nicer our kitchen looked when we did that.
I try to keep my refrigerator door mostly clean now. I do have a couple magnet clips that hold the latest school-art. And I do tape her drawings up all over the dining room, but the dining room is her play room (because I do not own a table) and there are no other pictures on the wall, and I think it looks cute. Coupons and menu's from take out places are in a drawer. DD has a drawing board with magnets and I have that on the side of the refrigerator (next to the basement door) where you don't really see it, and the snow # for her school is clipped and on the un-obvious side too.
At Christmas time when I get new pictures of everyone's babies I tape them up over dd's child piano in the living room in a sort of picture array. I take them down after Christmas.
My advice is take everything off the fridge door and see how it looks then. Find a new place for most of the stuff, and only put things back on there that you really think you want to have there.
Mine is about the same! I have a phone number of an old friend I ran into one day about 3 years ago - and elementary school friend! - and I still haven't called her *blush* I have to agree though - it looks pretty terrible! The inside.....probably worse! LOL OH - I have a lot of magnetic letters too! And a magnet calender from 2001! *blush*

Mine has pictures (held on by those neat magnetic sleeves). The left side has pictures of me taken at my races and the right side has pictures of ds. They are arranged very neatly.
I also put one current school paper/test/art piece from ds.
So it is interesting, but neat.
The side of the refrigerator has a beautiful hand-embroidered towel from Sweden with the Swedish horse on it. Very pretty.
Gee I guess I'm the opposite here. See, I USED to have NOTHING on my fridge, yet I always LOVED visiting people who had pics on their fridges and ask them about them. So after I moved back to my hometown I started putting up pics on the fridge of my ds and friends and family. I love having people over who take the time to look and ask who they are.
Also, the bottom part of the fridge displays ds' artwork and he is in charge of it.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the "mess" and wouldn't change it!!

Mine is a lot like yours too. I have a bunch of pictures of the kids taped on the front of the freezer door. Pictures from when they were babies up until more recently. I never tire of seeing them. And on the front of the fridge, artwork from the kids and tests that were really great marks make it up there. On on side, more artwork. On the other, a magnet with a "pocket" for coupons such as you describe and their school calendar. I do periodically take things down and hang up newer artwork or newer tests. I also feel guilty when I throw something the kids make away (still!) but I make myself throw some stuff away because otherwise, I'd have drawers and drawers full. I just keep my absolute favorite ones.
The only time I get frustrated is when something falls down. Then I'm peeling tape off to put new tape on and my nails don't need the extra stress! ;)
