Why have I never seen this board before?

I just found this board - I have no idea why I haven't seen it before, but it looks a great place!

Okay, about me - I'm 35, divorced - twice, ugh, but, really my worst fault in them was making bad choices in men (I hope that I've learned from my mistakes!!!), mother of a 14 yo ds, who lives with his dad. I've done the online dating thing before; in fact, that's how I met both my 2nd husband, and my last boyfriend. I'm not holding it against match for my foolishness, but I refuse to give them any more money. So, I gave it to eharmony instead. Still waiting to see how it goes. My biggest problem these days is boredom and loneliness. I suppose I could clean the apt. to combat the boredom, but that just seems, well, boring. Hehehe Actually, I have another problem - a crush on a guy and it's just not good timing. So, I'll just obsess about it, and wait for the crush to pass... hopefully, I can find a date or two to take my mind off it, or pass the time here, if you'll have me?

Of course we will have you!! The more the merrier!

I am in the middle of a divorce right now and have 4 kids. Definitely single moms here of all stages of the dating game. Some of us not dating yet, others just starting to get there feet wet and a few exciting relationships blooming too!!

I started posting a few weeks ago and it has been great. Awesome advice and commeradery, no nonsense kind of stuff if you know what I mean. ANd sometimes it is a great mental distraction when the emotions are running high and you can read what everyone else is going through and suddenly you dont seem so alone.

Anyway, just rambling. Welcome!

Naturally we'll have you! Now that spring is here, why don't you take up a new hobby or activity to combat the boredom?

I don't get bored easily- I'd love the chance, but I do pretty much always have something going on or a list of things to try.

Moody, who should definitely be cleaning

Thanks! I will be starting a class next week, and I started doing pilates 3 times a week. Those will definitely help the boredom, but they're both with my crush! Oh, well, I think it's getting a little better.... maybe.
