One big hug to you, Alison. No, I doubt it's anything you are doing that says you'd be willing to have that kind of second hand relationship. You are open and friendly, giving off the "I'm available" vibe and the kind of guys who would do that will go for it every chance they get. You've just been unlucky in running into them more often than perhaps other women do. Maybe running as a sport is attractive to the kind of guy who is more of a risk seeker, the whole rush of getting away with it thing.

I have experienced this too. Married men hitting on me. I find it so insulting. They think that a single mom would go for a casual fling. No thanks. That just grosses me out.
