Me in a gay bar. My niece's partner's bday was yesterday and they have asked me and a good friend of mine and my other niece to go to a gay bar just because we are too fun! LOL
The one time I get out in a very loooonnng time and it's to a gay bar. We'll have fun though. There's suppose to be some kind of a men in drag show but sheesh it doesn't start until 10 or 10:30!!! I'll have to take a nap Sat. afternoon!
Like I said, it'll be interesting.

I went to a lesbian bar in London when I was younger. I was with my friends, who were lesbians, and since they had never hit on me, I hadn't given it a thought. Then I was there, and women were hitting on me...very strange feeling.
Been to gay guy bars and had a great time, though some of the visuals can get to be a bit much!
Oooo, do update us when you're through. Sounds like it definitely has the potential to be interesting.

Well that was fun. It was mostly gay guys and my niece knew one of them. He was hilarious! they had a drag show which included only 2 er,um people. So there were long breaks in between so they could change. They would lipsync and one of them was pretty good and what was bad looked better than any of us women sitting at the table. My niece's friend was singled out because it was her b-day and she had to wear a hat all night. She was so embarrassed LOL! If she took the hat off this guy would come over the speaker and tell her she had to put it back on. I thought she was going to crawl under the table.
There were a lot of 18-25 yr olds there and all KINDS of grindin' goin on! That's just not my thing even if I am two sheets to the wind, which I wasn't. Course the group I was with had to get up and dance once or twice. All in all it was a good time. Lot of laughs!
What's next?
LOL!!! How fun!
I guess it goes without saying there were no single heterosexual men there to talk to though ;o)
LOL, no straight guys that I saw. By nature, I am an observer and I had lots to "observe" and at times a little too much. There was one group of guys and girls sitting in a corner that personally, I thought they needed to get a room and the whole group of them were bi I think. Since their ages ranged frm probably 18-23 or so, my friend and I decided they might just be confused.
All in all we had lots of laughs and I kept to party with 2 of my nieces which made it a special. They both kept saying "I can't believe we're out partying with our aunt."
Making memories!!
