Zen, you know where I stand on the issue.
I agree with Shrimpy. I'd also like to throw in a dual NEXT, for both of you. I don't know the whole story, but she sounds either younger or
Okay, you are all right. I've only really vented and questioned here. Probably more because all of you give me great insight into the heads of single mom's and because the drama I bring here I am double checking if I'm thinking clearly or if I'm not understanding how single mom's work.
Well Shrimpy, here you go...some good stuff!
Italy was amazing! We enjoyed seeing the sights, we enjoyed all the eating, danced in the Piazza Navonna to street musicians, watched the sun set over the Arno river, explored all the back alleys of Florence and many in Rome.
She spent a lot of time telling me that she realized what she had done was wrong, and that she hoped that her actions in the future would continue to show me that she wants to be with only me. We hugged, kissed, cuddled, and were the closest we have been in a while.
We especially enjoyed seeing Michaelangelo's David. Best part was that we walked right up t the Accademia and walked right in! No lines! We spent the better part of an hour just looking at it and discussing the intricacies of the sculpture, the detail in the feet and hands and then we marvelled at the expression on his face. We both enjoy architecture and we spent a lot of the time comparing and discussing the construction techniques and styles of the Pantheon and Colloseum versus Saint Peter's Cathedral and the Pitti Palace.
We shopped, and I scored a great leather jacket and a killer pair of shoes. Since I've been back I've even had women come up to me and tell me how much they really, really, really like the shoes (and the man in them of course-lol!) Came home and things have been great since.
Hope this shows you the good things, or at least a small part of it.
