Working things out

I like how Blue Eyes and I work things out these days. I swear it's taken time, but we seem to be able to get along without too much drama anymore..and when things happen it's so much less often these days. The drama daughter has not been an issue at all for months. Which seems to coincide with BH not calling him anymore. I am so relieved. And he drinks considerably less these days. He is very conscious of it.

Wow - congrats. I was just about to post to PacSun that this is a good improvement for both her and BE - it appears that getting BroomHilda out of the pic has done him some good. But not only do we have that good post - we have a confirmed baby post!
Yeah to all!!
LOL here's the three game runddown:
Game 1: Crush out of site.
Pacific,
As always, I'm very impressed with both you and BE and how much work and determination you've both put in to improving not only your relationship, but yourselves!
A year ago you clung to BE for entertainment and he put his boozing buddies above you. Now? You've both made changes to come together as a couple, to identify the problems and make the changes in yourselves FOR yourselves and not just the other.
You have branched out to your disc golf and bowling groups for fun, put yourself and dd first, and stood your ground on both BE's dd and his ex. You have found yourself and your power, made your own way, decided what you wanted in your relationship and made it known.
BE has come full circle in putting the ex and dd in their places- by realizing where you were coming from and understanding the need for a limit/ line with them. He has cut down the drinking and understands the effect it has had on his life and relationships. He has made sure that time with you is focused on you, and not just hanging out. And the man is willing to say he's sorry- that's major points! LOL!
Even if things end with BE, you know that you've both become stronger people because of this relationship, and that neither of you gave up when the road got bumpy.
Well done!
ITA with Alison... hmm that's a first. ;-)
But seriously, i couldn't agree more. WTG, PacSun!!!
