EMT asked me to go see Cirque de solei with him next month. And he has kept in touch every day since date one. Wow. He beats RG big time! Its so cool to have met someone who likes to do things. So you know what I mean heres the list of things RG refuses to do...

.Cycling
.RUnning (although he Says he wants to again)
.Rock climbing
.Amusement Park
.Water Park
.Movies (sad but true. He has not seen a movie in the theater since he was in high school)
.Comedy Club
.Concerts
.Anything involving my kids
.Hanging out at either home and just relaxing
.Swimming
.Gym
.Red Sox games
.Country Fair (theres a huge one in my town and its a blast)
.Skiing, snowboarding
.kayaking
.live theater
theres more. Its too long to list.

So meeting EMT who likes to keep active and do things is refreshing.

Oh and I forgot last date jitters. I got my hair cut that day. My stylist was booked. My backup stylist was booked also. So I got some man there to cut it. I told him just a real little bit off. He ended up taking about an inch off and its the shortest cut I have ever had. I was freaked. So I had to meet EMT with my hair ridiculously short and my allergies were acting up so my eyes were red. I was a wreck.

I forgot to add the EMT called hours ago to see how my race went. I did a challenging 10k today. Not a word from RG even though I texted him my times.

Wow a second date! That is great! He sounds promising! I am newer to the board so if you do not mind me asking...why were you with RG if he did not like to do so much stuff and of course the sex stuff? I would be miserable if I was with someone who did not like to get out and enjoy LIFE! Hope date two goes well!!!!

That IS the question. RG is good looking, built well, nice, sweet and seemed promising. I kept waiting for him to get done with the house and old car so I could enjoy some time with him. But it appears that the car and house will not be done anytime soon. I also realized that I would rather be seeing someone who is not as good looking and a bit overweight if he is active and fun.

It's great that once you started letting go of RG then EMT shows up in your life. Funny how that works huh?

BTW have you "resolved" your wardrobe (i.e. skits, etc.) etc. issue?

Wishing you the best!

Mark,

I didnt buy a skirt or dress yet. I havent got up the courage to do so. hahaha. But I think I have something appropriate to wear. Black slacks with a sleveless black pullover with a low cut neck. I wore it to the Killers concert with the girls.

Oh and he's looking into Pats tickets for the fall for us. All his own suggestions. Something else I couldnt get RG to do. I bought Sox tickets last year for RG and I and he refused to go. I gave the tickets away.

Ok no more whining about what RG wouldnt do. Trying to keep positive.

Hi Laurie,

Wow, EMT sounds great! I am so happy that you're dating someone who like to go out and enjoy life with you!!

I once "dated" a guy who never wanted to go anywhere. But he loved to stay in, watch sports and "get busy" lol. One fine day I met a guy who actually liked to go out, have fun, concerts, parks, beach..everything. It WAS so refreshing!! I'm glad that EMT matches your style more. Go and have fun!

That is a great 2nd date update :o)

I forgot to add he's a Yankee's fan too but hey its pro baseball in the middle of summer.

Yep I highly recommend the Killers to anyone else too. Did you see they have a song to an olympic commercial?
