That is positive that he actually WENT and saw the psych finally!!! But now only time will tell, if he continues like he is supposed to, like he NEEDS to... or just go back to what he was doing before.

I think it's a good thing that he refused to see Ave for now- but you know he will bring it back up again that YOU were keeping her from him. He won't ever remember his flat-out refusal at an offer to see her. I agree- that overnights are NOT a good idea for awhile. I'd be suggesting supervised visitation too- but I know how trying to get THAT going in the past has led to bigger messes. So just keep doing what you're doing. I think (as usual)- you're doing the best you can and thinking only of Ave and her well-being and safety through it all.

I can't believe he followed up that madness with asking you if you'd marry him again?!?? Yikes, that man is NUTS! Does HE even know how insane he is sounding??? (I guess not- because he keeps doing it)

Glad you have the psych in your corner, too. ((((((((((R)))))))))

Now that he has agreed to go to the psych will he have testing done?

No. I WISH though, he would be tested. I am SURE he is BiPolar, if not at least a combination of personality disorders. Unfortunatly here in RI, the psyc testing costs 3K, & if *I* request it, *I* have to pay it. He no longer had health insurance, but even if he DID, they wont cover the testing. & even if he DID get tested, dx (besides his dx now of depression) - it wouldnt do any good b/c he is never med complaint ANYWAY.
