Did the judge sign your restraining order?
The other ladies are right. You have to take the threats seriously, because you never know when one of them will be carried out, and you have your daughter to worry about to.

Well Kelly everything has gone ok. On the same day that i filed the restraining order he stopped by twice in the matter of 4 hours. The second time i wasn't home, and he left a note. Saying do this if i like. Come by and see him in the morning, he'll be waiting. He'll be waiting by himself. Funny thing while he's waiting for me, he'll probably be served with those papers, ha. But, as of yesterday Wednesday the judge did sign the restraining order for me, and i picked it up before 12. The only problem now is, they'll have to catch him to serve him with the paper work, since he has no real residence. We are doing just fine. I'm making some life chances to do some things better for my child and me. It was hard a couple of days ago to tell him to get off of my steps, but it's what i had to do. I'm all about me and my daughter, family, school, and work right now. Those are the major priorities...nothing else. I'll keep you all posted. Thanks for asking about me.

Oh Yasmari that is all very good progress, indeed. We all really care about you - keep us posted, okay!!
I wish you and your daughter well!! You are going to do just fine.
Yasmari,
I had the same problems trying to get my ex served. He knew though, that he was going to be served (I had told him, and he had agreed to be available). But every time the guy tried to serve him, he was deeking out and getting away from the guy, or not answering his door and stuff. So I do suggest that you DON'T tell your ex that he's going to be served- you could ask him to meet you somewhere, and arrange for the server to meet him instead LOL.
Good luck, keep us posted!
Alison
Yasmari -
I am so glad it went so smoothly for you. Now stick to your guns, and don't let him have exceptions to the order, and make him stay gone! Everything will work out for you and your daughter, and we are all here any time you need someone. Thoughts and prayers with you!
