You Say It's Your Birthday

It's My Birthday Too, Yeah (well, not Really, but that's how the song goes)

Happy Birthday in 2 days, Be10der! I haven't heard much from you lately, but the weekend is coming up, and someone asked me today if I had plans, and it made me think of you.

I hope you have a wonderful birthday!

I also will definitely let you know how your predictions (is that the correct term? Don't mean to offend, just have no experience with this) turn out, as it stands I have no concrete plans for Saturday.

Friday Night, the band is playing, and the building is definitely white, and near railroad tracks, so that's almost the 10th, and the wee hours of the morning could be the tenth. I plan to go see them. My children are spending the weekend with my brother and sister in law, so I could go out Saturday as well, and I may, since I haven't had a child-free weekend in a long, long time. I think since they were born!

Other than that, I plan to clean the kid's rooms while they're gone (since that's the best time) and go through the huge pile of winter clothes we all have- being mid-June, it *might finally be safe to store some stuff. I need to get rid of some kids' clothes, and some of my own, and just put some other stuff away. Cleaning, gardening, it's going to be a rainy weekend, so nothing major outdoors, but a little weeding and trimming is in order.

The kids are psyched to go to their Uncle's- fishing, shopping, and hanging out with their dogs at my brother's new house is on the agenda. They're going to make blueberry pancakes, I'm told, and the princess and auntie will shop while the boys go fishing.

What's everyone else doing this weekend?

It is great that you get a child-free weekend. Try to take some time to do something really fun and not productive just for you.

Not doing anything to extraordinary here. Working - got a big pile of stuff. Still trying to get used to EST.

Sounds like your kids are going to have a great time!!

Yay!! new babies are always so much fun, even more so when you don't have to change the diapers and wake up with them in the middle of the night :) Congradulations!!

Ok- so I was a day off :)
Are you still seeing him? You should be.. you haven't come full cycle with him yet.
I'm getting a strong feeling of a light brown or sunwashed gold.. maybe his hair or his car? Something important to him. Brown eyes with gold flecks. Soft, yet honest and hungry.

Thank you for the birthday wish- it came true :) I had a great birthday and there has been a lot of turmoil in my life lately.. how does that saying go? If it has an engine, a harddrive or a penis- you're gonna have problems with it...lol
I've had problems with all of the above :)

My truck got sideswiped out in front of my house and they didn't stop to leave a note or anything. My truck has had endless problems since, last week I threw a wheelbearing- yes, accident related.

Our computer is behaving this week..so far but it will probably read this note and go on the fritz again just to spite me :)

I don't have one of those "MAN" things so I haven't had any trouble in that department, other than fending them off! lol
The only ones who are interested in me are the ones I'm not interested in. How do we say "NO" and make them believe it?

There is one that I have been chatting with and he shows promise of being a decent dating prospect, I need to get to know him better before I write you folks a tell all :)

On a brighter note, my oldest sister called me on my birthday and we talked for hours!
I did a lot of soul searching and I think I may have forgiven her years ago- I just wouldn't admit it to myself... hey, I'm Italian- we live to hold grudges!
So we are mending the rifts, one BBQ at a time and getting to know our neices and nephews again. We went shopping in Ithaca a few weeks ago and I bought a pair of water buffalos! They were my favorite sandal growing up :)
I truly believe she is sorry, I think if she had contol over the big editor in life- she would go back and delete that scene.
I know I have to give her the chance.

Other than that, I've been working tons of overtime with more on the horizon.. and my gardens are doing fabulous this year!

I thinks it's absolutely fantastic that Androids Dad spent a week camping with him! I wish my X spent time with our boys!
Did they have a great time?

I was also thrilled to hear that your Dad's treatment went great! I know how exhausting it can be, for all of you!
As far as you looking for a place of your own, rethink this. Sit on it for a while if you can. I have a niggle about the situation, and I don't want to lead you on this but you need to talk to him. You're still needed there, you're not through yet. Does that make sense?
College is a fantastic decision! I went back and the only thing I regretted was not taking a slower algebra course. I'm good with numbers but that really threw me for a loop!
Wow! You think you have no time now, just wait until the profs start throwing the homework at you! lol

I really am sorry I haven't been around, I really miss you guys!

Hey Be, I'm so glad to hear from you! I'm also a little weirded out, but I guess you're probably used to that, and I definitely don't mean any disrespect.

Droid had lots of fun with his father, and he grew an inch, I swear, while he was gone. I missed him, but he's home now, and my house's natural equilibrium (you know- she's looking at me, he touched me, that's mine, no it isn't) has been restored.

I don't know how to explain the relationship with my parents. I love them, but my mother and I can't live together. I need my space, and she doesn't understand that I won't ever be the kind of parent she is, the kind of person she is. Moving out is the only way I can see to maintain my sanity, but I have actually been feeling like I might need to wait a few months, too, so we'll see what happens.

As far as the "him"... I didn't meet anyone that night. In fact, the only guy I've met since then definitely wasn't right for me. But, I have come to the conclusion that I have had enough fun dating and am now ready for a relationsup again, if that makes sense.

I'm glad things are going well with your sister, and glad you had a happy birthday. Sorry about your truck- I thought the saying was if it has tires or testicles it's gonna give you problems... and the saying's right!

So, catch up, you probably have about a million posts to get through, and keep us updated! It's great to hear from you!

Moody
