My boyfriend has been extremely grouchy lately.and he goes thru times where is an angry bear for a few days then better again..if I ask why are u so angry he gets more mad...so I can't discuss his mood with him....I just get sad when he's like this cause then he's mean and yells. Any advice on how to deal wit a grouchy man?

My advice-leave him immediately and find a new boyfriend. The "grouchiness" will only get worse.

Arguing is normal in a relationship. Being mean is not. You mustn't feel very good about yourself if you think you're deserving of this behavior and stick around for more abuse. Leave and work on your self esteem by reading self help books and practicing positive self talk. When you feel good about yourself, you'll only accept men who treat you with kindness. Good luck.

That's not being crabby/grouchy, that's being mean. Everyone has their bad moments, but it sounds like this guy may not be in a moment.

Grouchy is not something that lasts for days.  What ever his problems this  is too long.  It is time to move on.

Sounds like my bipolar ex who I divorced cause I was tired of the emotional roller coaster.  Now everyone has bad moods occasionally.  the sign of being an emotionally healthy adult is not acting like a toddler.  It's one thing to say "I'm feeling unhappy today" but when someone is angry for days and takes their bad mood out on you, that is not acceptable.  I remember what my therapist said when talking about my ex--instead of him being in control of his emotions, he lets his emotions control him.
