Follow up question from yesterday

I'm inclined to agree with tulips, when I'm angry I just need space. However since he hasn't been pushing you away then you might be having a positive impact even if he isn't reacting. Just don't lay it on too thick, or hug and kiss him in order to further your agenda or make a dent in him emotionally (as tulips said). I don't think you're making it worse by doing what you're doing, just be aware that he has to initiate contact with you when he's ready to release his anger, and you can't force that.
