I am 26 yrs old, and I met a new co-worker back in Oct. At first we talked just at work, then on Facebook, then through texts. We're both very busy, but we talked everyday and looked forward to seeing each other. We kind of danced around the idea of actually dating, generally I think it's against both our normal policies to date a co worker.
On New Years Eve he had a little bit to drink, invited me over, and one thing led to another. We had a great night, he asked me where it was going, and told me I could be as serious about him as I wanted to be. I told him that I had just recently decided to try again with my ex, who I was engaged to. He supported this, and a few days later his father set him up with a girl who works for him.
We agreed we didn't regret what hapened, and considered having one more night before the other relationships became official, but we respect each other and didn't want things to get weird. He told me that when his classes started up again he might not be able to talk as much, and I understood. But, we did keep in touch.
It didn't work with my ex, and it didn't work with the girl. Every day I regret not giving it a shot with him. I tell him how happy he makes me, and how I care about him, but I haven't point blank told him how I feel. I don't have the courage.
I don't know if that ship has sailed or not. We don't talk as much, and haven't seen each other in awhile.
Should I tell him, or let it go?
Did I blow my chances?
