Now, don't confuse this with random thoughts... there does not have to be any thought involved in this one... just curious how long this thread can get... just talking about nothing...

Although knowing us.. it will turn to men, love, sex, cowboys, embroidery (heheh T) and more...

Who wants to talk about nothing? It's all men think about. :-)

I do wish you luck, Brokk... It won't be easy but it will be worth it. Markis is going to love his baby sister.

I knew there was a way around the promos on dvds but I couldn't think what it was. I'll try the menu thing next time - I think I did that once before to get past them. :o)

No, she usually asks me to put in the movie, and I zip around watching the previews before she comes in the room. She likes the specials as much as I do though.

Aha! So I'm not that old and forgetful after all! Well, okay I'm old but I'm not forgetful, I think! LOL

Heck, I'm just trying to figure out what you are saying. Least corruptest? Taking the double negatives out, would that be most pure?

Yes, but that's not me. I'm the second most pure! :o)

Skip hardly ever works. Fast Forward typically does work for most things, you just have to press it a few times to work up to the fastest speed (16x on my machine). Menu works for some as well. Almost always on Disney DVDs. They always start with a bunch of previews.

I have about 500+ DVDs and I've been collecting them since early 98'. So I've seen a variety of stuff in how they do things.

Well I'm all caught up and I'm still 8 short of 1000. I hope somebody's still there for me to talk to or I'll have to talk to myself.

Either way, I'm going to bag the 1000 tonight. Watch me! :o)

So you are the second most pure. You've hinted that T is the most corrupt. So where do I fit in? Being a man and all, I assume that would be me towards the bottom of the list.

500+ dvds! Wow! Are they interesting or do you collect things I would think are strange? No offence meant, but I'm sure you must have some strange ones in there.

Sounds like T and I drive the same way. I have a lot of friends who drive to western PA from the Boston area in August. There is always the same arguements about which is the better route and how long it takes. A lot of people call it an 11-12 hour drive. This last year I was very proud of myself. I made the 560 mile drive in just under 8 hours, by only stopping once for food, potty and gas, at around the 4 1/2 hour mark. I have driven long trips with people who have small bladders. Boy does that drag things out.
