If a guy is already starting out wishy-washy with you, my personal view on that is that that sets the tone for any kind of future experience you'll have with him, whether just simple dating or even if you let it progress into something more.

It depends on how it was arranged - if it was very clear that he was in control and making definite arrangements then I'd consider myself blown off.
