There is this guy i know....i go to his place of work all the time, we have a mutual friend. Lately he's been telling this mutual friend how i really have been looking good lately. I guess he's been trying to get more information about me. this has been going on for about a month now. When i see him he flirts with me,

Well, there could be a number of reasons. Maybe he's shy, could not be interested in you that way, maybe he's just a player, etc.. I could probably go on and on, but it would all just be speculation as I have no idea what his thoughts are. So, with that being said, I agree with the other two posters. If you're that interested, why don't you ask him out? It could be a simple lunch, that way it's only for about an hour, or a cup of coffee after work.
